Video: Graduate Student Forum

The Graduate Student Forum is held at the University of Oregon annually with the purpose of showing more than 100 students’ work over 50 different disciplines. The forum is in its sixth year. The forum includes a panel presentation followed by the poster presentation and reception where students present their work and can explore others research as well. The event is being held at the Ford Alumni Center from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is open to the public.

Video: KLCC Microbrew Festival

Craft brewers from around Oregon come together to promote good beer and a good time at the 2015 KLCC Microbrew Festival. The ticket purchase includes a KLCC glass and two drink tickets to kick off the fun filled evening. The festival is held February 6th from 5-11 p.m. & February 7th from 1-11 p.m. providing an assortment of activities for attendees to enjoy. Live music from Sol Seed and Jelly Bread give the event a funky atmosphere while the Home Brew competition allows citizens to get in on the fun. A second competition, Peoples Choice Award, pins all participating breweries against each other as participants vote for their favorite brew. Winners will be announced Saturday at 9 p.m. All proceeds benefit the local public radio station KLCC 89.7 FM.
