Aggravated assault near Unit 3 this morning, dangerous weapon may have been used
A shooting took place this morning near Unit 3, according to Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, Lt. Kevin Reece.
BPD responded to reports of gunfire at 2:36 a.m. Once at the scene, police found one person struck by gunfire.
The victim was taken to a local hospital. Their injuries do not seem to be life-threatening, Lt. Reece said.
BPD has not found the suspect, according to Lt. Reece. This is an ongoing investigation.
