Austin Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning in West Campus at 2500 Leon St., according to a campus-wide email alert.

No injuries were reported, and the suspect description is unclear, according to the alert.

APD did not respond to a request for comment this morning. The UT Police Department will send more information to students as they receive it, UTPD spokesperson Noelle Newton said.

APD is still actively investigating this incident and encourages anyone with more information to call 512-974-2000.
