Oregon baseball fell once again to No. 17 UCLA in Los Angeles. The Bruins won 10-2 in the final game of the series to complete the sweep. UCLA (35-17, 18-9 Pac-12) had 10 hits, no errors, and left five runners on base. Oregon  (25-27, 11-16 Pac-12) had six hits, two errors and left five stranded.

Kelby Solmers (2-7) lasted three innings for the Ducks, giving up seven runs (two of them unearned), string out three and walking two. Ryan Garcia (6-1) pitched five innings, had four strikeouts, a walk and one earned run.

UCLA did not wait long to get its offense rolling, as the Bruins scored six runs in the second inning. In his fist at-bat of the day, left fielder Jeremy Ydens scored three runs on an RBI triple. They scored a single run in the fourth inning after Garret Mitchell tripled to start the inning, and Daniel Rosica hit a sacrifice fly ball to center field to score him.

Oregon scored its first run in the sixth inning. After second baseman Spencer Steer walked and advanced to second off a wild pitch, Jonny DeLuca hit an RBI single up the middle.

Just as they have done all series, The Bruins kept up the attack, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth and another in the seventh inning. They also managed to keep Oregon off balance by rotating in four different pitcher after Garcia left in the sixth.

The Ducks will close out its season next week in Eugene against Arizona. The first game of the three-game series will be Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Bruins outscored the Ducks 37-7 in the three-game series.
