Student Assembly 2/21/17

This week’s Student Assembly was held in the Mountain View Room in the Student Center at 6:30 this Tuesday the 21st of February. The meeting began with a unanimous vote to elect Keene State College junior Stephanie Ryder as the Vice President of the class of 2018.

The assembly announced that KSC President Anne Huot will be attending the executive board meeting next Tuesday and a member of the board mentioned to address students’ complaints of her lack of appearance on campus as well as complaints regarding her lack of communication with the Keene State students.

The assembly mentioned that there is a Students Representative spot for the class of 2020, as well as two open Representative spots open both for the class of 2018 and 2019.

One of the representatives of the KSC EcoReps, Joe Barbesco mentioned their proposed petition to ban plastic water bottles being sold on campus. Barbesco mentioned that their is a petition going around and encourages as many people as possible to sign it, especially considering Keene State’s Pepsi Contract being renewed in 2018.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 and will meet again next Tuesday at the same time and place.
