Emerald Quick Hits: Oregon softball continues hot streak on senior day, Ifo Ekpre-Olomu drafted in seventh round

– Everyone expected Marcus Mariota and Arik Armstead to go early in the 2015 NFL draft. And they did. But it took a little longer for other former Ducks to join the secluded circle. Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu went to the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round, offensive tackle Jake Fisher landed with the Cincinnati Bengals in the second and center Hroniss Grasu was taken by the Chicago Bears with the 71st overall pick.

– Over the weekend, the No. 2 Oregon softball team run-ruled No. 18 California 17-1 at Howe Field to conclude their regular season on senior day. It was their second consecutive run-rule win of the series.
