Twelve days of treats: peppermint bark fudge

Christmas is a time filled with many good foods, and unfortunately many calories. If you are looking for a guilt-free treat, this fudge treat will indulge your craving.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pure canned pumpkin
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie mix (18.3 oz)
  • 3 tbsp. white chocolate chips, roughly chopped
    1 standard-size candy cane or 5 mini candy canes, lightly crushed
  • 8×8 baking pan

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine pumpkin and brownie mixture in a large bowl. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into pan.
  4. Bake for 35 min. or until edges are firm.
  5. Top with chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  6. Cover and refrigerate fudge for at least two hours.
