The Oregon offensive line hasn’t been at 100 percent all season long. Steve Greatwood has had to move multiple players to different positions, but as the Ducks prepare for Arizona, he expects nothing short of the expectations that were set at the beginning of the season.

Q: What kind of things have you guys been stressing in terms of getting better on a daily basis?

A: Just communication, recognition, the same things we work on every week. Obviously trying fix the mistakes that we made in our last game, which I think we made some real strides on. It’s kind of like being in the army. Same things just about every day and it’s just a matter of continuing to execute.

Q: What do you see in Arizona after looking at their film? 

A: They’re a 3-4 scheme. They’re athletic, they’re active, a lot of movement up front, stunting and what not. They incorporate blitzes with their linebackers, so it’s going to be a challenge for us to again: recognize, communicate and execute.

Q: Coach Helfrich had talked after Washington about how some of the older guys were trying to do too much. Is that something you guys have stressed to try and pull that back a bit? 

A: You just have to do your job. Trust that everybody around you is going to do their job and I think we got caught up in that a bit up in Pullman. I think the communication will be better, being at home we’ll be able to communicate verbally. It was tough out there against Washington State. Bottom line is everybody is going to have to do their job.

Q: You feel like fans will see a pretty complete product on the offensive line or do you think on Thursday you’ll be working towards 100 percent?

A: We’re striving to put a complete product out there and that’s the expectation level. There’s no execuses for anything less.

Q: How’s Jake (Fisher) doing? 

A: He’s day-to-day.
