Oregon jumps Alabama and garners No. 2 Ranking after win over Michigan State

Oregon’s 46-27 win over Michigan State is already paying dividends. The Ducks, now sitting at 2-0, jumped Alabama and are now ranked second in the latest AP Top 25 poll. 

Oregon received 16 first-place votes and 1,415 points overall as opposed to Alabama’s one first-place vote and 1,334 points. Florida State remained at No. 1 in the poll, coming away with 38 first-place votes.

USC joined Oregon in the top ten at the No. 9 spot after its 13-10 upset victory over the Stanford Cardinal, who plummeted to No. 15. UCLA, despite its win over 42-35 win over Memphis, continues to drop in the polls and is now ranked No. 12.

Arizona State was the only other Pac-12 team appearing in the poll, ranked at No. 16.

Michigan State, who came into Autzen ranked seventh, dropped to No. 13 after its loss.
