Spring is in the air and the weather is finally getting warmer. You never thought you’d pull out shorts and a tank top after the brutal winter we had, but get ready for some warm, beautiful weather this spring.

Some of the best items to have in your closet are summery sundresses. You can never go wrong with having too many. As they are a warm weather classic, you can find them at almost any store that sells women’s clothes. Keeping several dresses in your wardrobe will allow you to have a variety of spring or summer looks, rather than being in just regular shorts and a t-shirt each day.

“Sundresses in the springtime are fun to wear because they are so easy to accessorize and super comfortable,” senior Mackenzie Warner said.

Rompers are also making a comeback. Whether it’s short or long, a romper will give you a trendy look that you can rely on when the weather is nice. You can wear a short romper during the day, and switch it up to wearing a long romper at night. You can wear them plain or dress them up with jewelry, either will give you a look that will be popular this spring season.

Senior Molly Zager enjoys following the latest fashion trends.

“Rompers are a fun fashion forward clothing article and are perfect for the spring because not only are they fun, but they’re easy to wear,” Zager said.

Another trend making an appearance this spring is crochet. Add a sweater, shorts or a shirt and this casual texturized trend is one that can be added to your everyday outfit to upgrade your look.

“Crochet is a comfortable look that can dress up or dress down your outfit,” UO senior Allie Masterson said. “I have a lot of crochet clothes that I’m planning on wearing this spring term.”

Spring is here and it’s time to take out those cute clothes. You don’t have to hide in layers of warm clothes anymore. Wear any of these items this spring and dress to impress and look your best.
