Since his redshirt freshman season, Grasu has been the starting center for the Ducks, taking over from Jordan Holmes. He earned All-Freshman Second Team in 2011, All-Pac-12 First Team in 2012, and he also is on the watch list for Rimington Trophy. Currently projected to be the No. 1 NFL draft pick among centers, Grasu has certainly made a name for himself as a Duck. His parents are a familiar sight at Oregon games, home and away: they attend every one. What remains to be seen is how Grasu and his teammates will hold their own against the Texas Longhorns’ D-line in San Antonio.
