Taylor Goodson, a recent Cal Poly graduate, was reported missing to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Monday at 6:30 a.m., according to his mother P.J. Goodson.

Goodson was last seen 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning at a house off of Crandall Way wearing a green rugby shirt and black shorts. P.J. said he is driving a silver 2000 Suburban with Cal Poly, Black Dog Rugby and Kirkwood Ski Resort stickers on the back window.

“It’s not like him to not connect,” P.J. said. “He has not been like himself since graduation, which is why we are concerned.”

P.J. said he was “very distraught” about the death of fraternity brother Brett Olson. Olson was found dead last September after going missing following a Labor Day Float event in Chico, Calif.

P.J. said she hasn’t heard back from the detective working on the case.

“It would be really nice to know, but this is where we are at now,” she said.

Goodson graduated with a business administration degree in June and moved to Vacaville, his hometown. He has been in San Luis Obispo since Thursday.

Goodson was president of the Cal Poly Rugby Club and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, according to P.J.
