More “accusers” may have come forward in Sandusky case

By Anna Orso

In a motion filed yesterday in the Jerry Sandusky case, the former assistant football coach’s defense attorney references “Accusers 11-17 as well as 18 through an unknown number,” suggesting more men may have come forward saying Sandusky sexually abused them.

Defense Attorney Joe Amendola filed the motion Thursday as his second attempt to obtain more information from prosecutors regarding specifics in the case.

Criminal charges filed against Sandusky only account for 10 men he allegedly sexually abused, as those are the men outlined in the grand jury presentments.

The new “accusers” were mentioned twice in the motion: once where Amendola asked for employment records and another time where he was requesting “conduct evidence.”

Amendola could not be reached for comment as of 6:15 p.m. Friday.
