Former Virginia lacrosse player found guilty of murder

Jurors, after nine hours of deliberation, found former U. Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely guilty of grand larceny and the second-degree murder of former U. Virginia student Yeardley Love.

Second-degree murder carries a possible sentence of between five and 40 years.

Jurors plan to deliberate tonight, but the Honorable Judge Edward Hogshire said he would stop the deliberation process at 10 p.m.. If necessary, deliberation will continue tomorrow.
