U. Oregon released a slew of new documents on Tuesday relating to the NCAA’s investigation of the school’s relationship with scout Willie Lyles, according to The Register-Guard’s Adam Jude.

Among the set of documents, which were requested as public records five months ago by some outlets, is a second invoice from Lyles for $25,000. In earlier interviews, Lyles claimed that he never received payment for that invoice.

Oregon received its official “notice of inquiry” from the NCAA two months ago, as the Ducks prepared to take on Missouri State. A “notice of allegations” would be the next step in the process, though that action had yet to be taken as of Tuesday, according to Jude.

Other salient details from the latest batch of documents:

– Chip Kelly has been interviewed “at least twice by NCAA investigators.”

– Kelly and Lyles last spoke, via phone, on Feb. 28, 2011, for nine minutes.

– Lyles and recruiting assistant Josh Gibson last spoke on June 14, 2011 — twice — for 27 minutes.

– Two more players, Josh Huff and Dior Mathis, were named.

– Oregon has paid a total of $69,000 to the Bond, Schoeneck & King law firm, dating through September. The firm was hired to guide the University through the duration of the NCAA’s investigation.
