Voices of the Community // Issue 6

Photographer James Baker polled the community with the following question: “What would you do with $100,000?”

  • Ben Tracy, First year: “First I would buy anything for my friends under 1,000 dollars. Next I would lease a Lamborghini Aventador for six months. Then, with the rest of that money, I would put it in a savings account and invest it in my future.”
  • Steven Woolston, Sophomore :
“I have two brothers so I’d probably put it toward their tuition, honestly. I think family is super important. I think I would save part of it just for material stuff — not a ton, but, I don’t know, like right now I want a pair of shoes. I might buy a pair of shoes.”
  • Caitlin Scott, Junior:
    “I’d invest in property.”
  • Tyee Williams, Sophomore:
    “I’d buy an industrial-sized composter.”
