The UO’s School of Journalism and Communications hosted a 100 year kick-off party, with food and drinks. The party celebrated the past, present, and future of Journalism. Tons of alumni and current students filled Allen Hall’s rooms to socialize and network.

Every year, thousands flock to the Lane County Fair. Filled with entertainment, deep-fried food and carnival games, the five-day event kicked off on Wednesday and continues through Sunday night. We grabbed some University of Oregon students from the crowd and asked them about their time so far.

Small Business Saturday: Area 51/50 Clothing

With his vintage fashion skills, Loren Hill started his business from a small pop up shop into a storefront offering eclectic attire and trinkets. His inspiration for the shop has stemmed from the arts, culture and the community of Eugene. Hill stocks his shop weekly with a wide variety of styles with his goal to “offer something for anyone and everyone.”
