Temperatures are finally down and sweater weather is here

It is the start of fall term in Eugene and you begin to panic because your closet is filled with tank tops, shorts and sandals from the overwhelming heat of summer.

But don’t worry, it is completely acceptable to go stock up on your oversized sweaters, leggings and boots for fall. Thinking about what you’re going to wear while walking around campus in the fall when it is cold could be stressful. You never know if it’s going to be raining, sunny but cold, windy, and/or cloudy.

You can never go wrong with throwing this outfit together because you will always be comfy, warm and cute. Many people I talk to are always excited about fall term because we all love to wear big, comfy sweaters.

“During the school week, I wear the same style outfit every day: Giant sweaters, Lulu leggings, and knee-high or mid-sized boots” senior Kaylee David said.

You could always throw a scarf over your sweater to add a cute accessory to your typical fall day outfit.

Dress it up with cute jewelry and scarves, or dress it down by not accessorizing; you will never regret wearing this perfect outfit for Eugene’s fall weather. After all, you could never have too many sweaters. Whether they are oversized, short sleeved, or cardigan sweaters, it’s always one of the easiest, but most stylish outfits a girl could put together.

Cute and comfy sweaters are in style and in stores right now, so you will not have a problem finding them. Sometimes it is hard to motivate yourself to look cute before classes when it is pouring outside; you can throw on a sweater, jeans or leggings and some boots and still look ready to conquer your classes.

If you need some inspiration on oversized sweater looks, just go onto Pinterest and type in sweaters and there will be a variety of ways to wear a sweater.

“Sometimes the weather in Eugene gets confusing and it will be 75 degrees out, but when this happens I love to wear sweaters with shorts,” Taylor Peskin said.

Sweater weather just makes you want to curl up in your comfy clothes with a latte in hand. You will never be uncomfortable with this go-to outfit. So go out and buy more sweaters, leggings and boots than you expected and get ready for a cold, but comfy fall term in Eugene.
