The University of Colorado (4-6, 1-6 Pac-12) took down the University of California at Berkeley (1-10, 0-8 Pac-12), Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder by a score of 41-24. Basketball coaches give insight on upcoming seasons at media day

Last Wednesday, CU Independent spoke with head coaches and players of CU men’s and women’s basketball teams about the upcoming season at CU’s basketball media day.

Tad Boyle, head coach of the men’s team, said the coaches use every opportunity they can to teach the players and get them to understand the game.

“They’ll either figure it out or they won’t,” Boyle told media. “And if they don’t figure it out, you guys are going to be saying we’re under achieving.”

Football photos: Homecoming game against Arizona

The 3-3 Colorado Buffaloes are set to host the 4-2 Arizona Wildcats for the annual Back to Boulder Homecoming Game. Fans are encouraged to wear black and pink to Blackout Breast Cancer.

Arizona won the game 44-20 with running back Kadeem Carey leading the way with 119 yards and four touchdowns. Colorado’s Paul Richardson had 132 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. Up next for the Buffs is UCLA on Saturday, Nov. 2.
