Ugly sweater contest brings student organizations together

Today reporter Faniola Charles caught up with students who participated in the Student Engagement and Leadership office’s ugly sweater contest. The student organization winning the competition received a cash award of $2,000 into their organization’s account.

CSU-Pueblo athletics hosted Take a Kid to a Game Night Saturday, Feb. 7, as ThunderWolves basketball took on UCCS .  The event included face painting and visits from the Children’s Museum and Denver Nuggets mascot Rocky.

CSU-Pueblo Men’s Lacrosse held a scrimmage against Johnson and Wales Saturday.

The men’s lacrosse season at CSU-Pueblo began this weekend with scrimmage games against Johnson and Wales and Ft. Lewis College. The first official game of the 2015 season will be Feb. 20 at Colorado College.  Women’s lacrosse will begin their season on March 6.
