CSU-Pueblo’s Take Back the Night event gave sexual assault survivors and those working to support victims the chance to come together and share their stories. Take Back the Night is a national movement that empowers survivors of sexual assault and raises awareness in the communities. TODAY videographer Freddy Correamanrique attended the event and spoke with several attendees including Jennifer DeLuna, director of diversity and inclusion at CSU-Pueblo, about the importance of the event.

Nursing department welcomes new arrivals

The CSU-Pueblo nursing department welcomed two new additions recently that will help students train for work in labor and delivery. SimMom and SimBaby will help nursing students prepare with scenarios they may eventually experience in the field. The department is now fundraising for a birthing bed, which will enhance training and make working with the Sims even more realistic.
