CSU-Pueblo softball won three of four games against UCCS this weekend in their second week of home play. They will be away next weekend at New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Men’s lacrosse saw improvement in their second home game against Adams State, and although they came away with a loss, the inaugural players are growing into a more confident and competitive team.

Women’s lacrosse opens with tough loss

The CSU-Pueblo women’s lacrosse team played the first home game of their inaugural season Wednesday against Whittenberg University. The Pack lost 17-6 and will now face Fort Lewis Saturday at the Art and Lorraine Gonzales Stadium on campus.

Softball finishes pod series with one win and one loss

CSU-Pueblo softball split a double header Monday afternoon beating Colorado Mesa 3-1, but losing to Regis 8-5. Their next series will be at home Saturday against UCCS at the Rawlings Softball Complex.

Men’s lacrosse opens regular home season with tough loss

CSU-Pueblo’s men’s lacrosse played their first regular season home game March 7, and despite a 16-5 loss to the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, the young team is working hard and on target according to Coach Sean Blair.

Student-athletes honored for academic achievement

More than 300 student-athletes were honored for their academic achievements last week. These students had semester GPAs of 3.0 and above and of those student-athletes, nearly 40 earned a perfect 4.0.
