In their season-opener exhibition game, Oregon head coach Dana Altman and his team lined up against a familiar Duck as the Northwest Christian University Beacons were coached by Luke Jackson, a former standout forward for Oregon who lead the Ducks to an Elite Eight finish in the 2002 NCAA Tournament as a sophomore.

The game was not much of a fair fight, however, as the Ducks piled on the points throughout the first half, heading to the locker rooms at halftime sporting a 51-27 lead. The second half was much the same, as the Beacons simply could not match the size and scoring prowess of the Oregon field.

Oregon’s next match is their final exhibition game of the pre-season against the Point Loma Sea Lions on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m., at Matt Knight Arena.
