As inclement weather continues, individuals on campus, in West Campus and around Austin have reported a shortage or lack of water.
Austin Water issued a citywide boil notice for all residents on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. according to a press release. The boil notice includes UT, West Campus and Riverside.

The Daily Texan has compiled a list of places offering water both for free and for purchase near and around UT campus. The Texan was not able to find locations offering water within walking distance, please use caution when driving.
Establishments offering FREE drinkable water
- Meanwhile Brewing at 3901 Promontory Point Dr. is offering drinkable water from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday to people who bring containers.
- Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches at 3220 Manor Rd. is giving away water to people who bring containers.
- The Brewtorium at 6015 Dillard Cir. is open to provide drinking water and warmth from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. People must bring their own containers.
- Black Star Co-op at 7020 Easy Wind Dr. is open Thursday and offering water to people who bring containers.
- Yoga East Austin at 3801 Berkman Dr. is offering filtered water, warmth and a place to shower in their studio from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Thursday.

Natural Grocers at 4615 N. Lamar Blvd. is giving away two free gallons of tap water that must be boiled until Tuesday Feb. 23. Continue to check their website for changing hours of business.

The Meteor Cafe at 2110 S Congress Ave. will be offering 10,000 free bottles of water from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday Feb. 19.

Valero gas station at 3909 Guadalupe St. has limited water bottles for sale as of 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

As of 3 p.m. on Thursday the Shell at 2400 Rio Grande St. is out of water, but has Gatorade and other drinks available for purchase. Cash only.
