Fire breaks outs in Bel-Air home, visible from Janss Steps

A fire broke out in a home in Bel-Air near campus Thursday evening.

Firefighters are working to contain an attic fire in a large two-story home at 10835 W Bellagio Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The home is located about a mile from campus, and flames from the fire are visible from Janss Steps.

About 80 firefighters are working to contain the fire. One was burned and transported to a nearby hospital, according to LAFD.
