Five were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, including a seven-month-old child, according to the Eugene Police Department.

The child was injured when the accident caused her mother to lose control of the stroller she was sitting in. It rolled down the bus and the child hit her head on a metal pole. The child was sent to the hospital, but an officer at the hospital reported that she was not apparently injured, according EPD reports.

The pickup truck caused the accident as it ran a red light while attempting to make a left turn onto Orchard Street.

The bus remained on Franklin Boulevard, blocking one lane of traffic for one hour before the two vehicles were towed from the scene.

Franklin reopened to traffic just after 1 p.m.
