UH to go green for Sustainability Fest

During Wednesday’s Sustainability Fest, the Office of Sustainability will teach students, faculty and staff how to reduce their carbon footprint from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lynn Eusan Park.

The festival is divided into zones focused on health, arts, green systems, transportation and the natural environment. Participants can also partake in yoga demonstrations, a cooking presentation by UH Dining Services, Nissan Leaf drive-testing and even a sustainability poetry contest.

For those who need material incentive, free snacks, reusable water bottles and tote bags will be given away to attendees.
