– Royce Freeman became Oregon’s first 100-yard rusher this season after carrying the ball 18 times for a career-high 121 yards and two touchdowns in the Ducks’ 42-30 win. His performance also had a bigger meaning to it as the Imperial, California native had dozens of family and friends in the crowd Saturday garnering shirts that read ‘Freeman’ across the front of them.

Oregon women’s soccer lost 2-1 to Colorado, Sunday, being on the wrong side of a two-goal comeback from the Buffaloes. On the same day however, the Oregon club men’s soccer team defeated Western Oregon 5-0 with one of its main contributors being Zach Donner.

Oregon volleyball fell to rival No. 3 Washington 3-1 (25-21, 17-25, 20-25, 16-25) in a match where the Ducks were “outplayed” by a “better” team, according to its head coach Jim Moore.

Oregon football jumped into the top 10 again this week after its decisive win over UCLA. The Ducks now sit at No. 9 in the AP poll. In addition, Mississippi State jumped Florida St. and now has positioned itself as the No. 1 team in the country following its 38-23 win over then No. 2 Auburn.
