On Tuesday afternoon, high school students from Oregon School for the Deaf in Salem and students from around the 4J school district who are Deaf or hard of hearing, gathered at Papé Field to play sports and hangout with student-athletes from the University of Oregon. O Heroes representatives from: football, women’s basketball, men and women’s track and field, acrobatics and tumbling, volleyball, softball, women’s soccer, women’s lacrosse and the cheerleading team shared laughs and smiles with the kids. Members from the American sign language club were also on hand for the event.
