A former volunteer assistant coach for the University of Minnesota women’s gymnastics team quietly resigned last fall amid a school-led investigation of his behaviors with team members, some of whom allege he repeatedly sexually harassed gymnasts.
Jim Stephenson spent more than two decades at the University and previously held the title of head coach.
