The University of Oregon African Student Association presents Africa Night at the EMU Ballroom in Eugene, Oregon on June 7th, 2014. Africa Night encompassed both modernity as well as tradition in all of the performances. Dancers performed traditional dances fused with modern music that provided a unique performance. Cheetahs were brought in via the Wildlife Safari to show African wildlife as well as to spread awareness about the declining cheetah population in Africa.
