Starting Monday, buildings on the University of Minnesota’s West Bank will have limited access.
University Services Vice President Pamela Wheelock sent an email to University students, faculty and staff Saturday announcing the start of the Building Access Pilot Program, which administrators launched in response to the rise in brazen crimes this year.
The program aims to increase security and gather information about how buildings are used, and it will require U Cards for access to seven buildings on campus during specific “University hours.”
