Wallows Drew Huge Crowds at Kilby Block Party 6

Wallows made a return to Salt Lake City on Saturday night, May 17, for Kilby Block Party 6. The three-member band — Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston — took the stage at 7:55 p.m. at the Lake Stage. This marked Wallows’ first appearance at the festival, though not their first performance in Salt Lake City.

Their set was an exciting debut for Kilby Block Party, and the crowd was thrilled to see them take the stage. Minnette expressed his excitement about playing the festival, noting that he had attended in previous years and felt honored to perform this time around.

The band made the most of their hour-long set, playing fan favorites such as “OK,” “These Days,” “Scrawny” and “Quarterback.” Fans at the barricade screamed the lyrics, clearly enjoying the performance. The band was highly interactive, coming down to the barricade to sing with the crowd and even making their way to the back to include more fans. During “OK,” Minnette turned the microphone to the audience to sing along.

Wallows drew a large crowd, with fans spilling onto the lawn and even watching from the top of the Mountain Stage stands. Their performance was an exciting addition to the festival.
