UC Berkeley received an “anonymous, non-specific” bomb threat Thursday afternoon, according to a UCPD Nixle alert released the same day.

The alert advised the campus community to immediately report other related concerns or suspicious packages or items discovered on campus. As of press time, there is “no reason” to believe any explosives have been sent to or placed on campus, the alert added.

Additionally, the alert cautioned the community to “stay vigilant” and contact UCPD at 510-642-6760 for any reports.
