What’s open, closed around UT campus

Freezing temperatures, unsafe road conditions and low power resources are all on the forecast for this week across Austin.

The Daily Texan has compiled a list of stores near campus and will continue to update this list with hours of operation for the rest of the week.

Grocery Stores

The three Target stores close to campus, 2025 Guadalupe St., 901 E Fifth St. and 2300 W Ben White Blvd., are open until 10 p.m. Tuesday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday according to their answering machine.
***Due to flooding, only the food and grocery sections of the Target located at 2025 Guadalupe St. are open to customers. To purchase merchandise such as shampoo, allergy medication, etc. you must ask an employee to get it for you. Only 10 customers are allowed in the store at once, however, there is no limit to how much product you may buy as of Wednesday Feb. 17.****

Austin and central Texas HEB store operating hours are noon to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, according to their website.
The Wheatsville Food Co-op at 3101 Guadalupe St. will be open Wednesday from noon to 10 p.m., and plan to be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, according to their website.
Bodega on Rio at 2101 Rio Grande St. is open until midnight Wednesday.
Whole Foods at 11920 Domain Dr. will open at 11:00 am Wednesday, according to their website.
Natural Grocers located at The Triangle on N Lamar Blvd will be open Wednesday until 8 p.m. according to their website. As of 2:49 p.m., the Texan could not get a response, however, the location has been servicing people all day.
The Quarters Market at 2222 Rio Grande St. will be open Wednesday until further notice, according to store employees. If weather conditions worsen, the store will close.
The West Campus Market at 709 W 22nd St. is open Wednesday until further notice, according to student sources. As of 3:17 p.m., The Daily Texan has not received a response.
Restaurants
Chipotle on Guadalupe Street will open Wednesday around 5 p.m.
Chi’lantro at 1202 Barbara Jordan Blvd. is open Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Roppolo’s Pizzeria on Guadalupe Street will open at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop on Guadalupe Street is open Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As of Tuesday, Pizza Press was closed. As of Wednesday, Feb. 17, the Texan received no response however it appears to be open.
Cava on Guadalupe Street will open at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
As of Wednesday, Feb. 17, the Texan received no response from Chick-fil-A on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. however it appears to be open.
USA Halal on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. is open Wednesday until 10 p.m.
Raising Cane’s on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. is open Wednesday until 4 p.m.
Zombie Taco on Guadalupe St. will be open Wednesday 6 p.m. until they run out
Moody’s Kitchen + Bar at 2530 Guadalupe St. will be open Wednesday until 10 p.m.

Pharmacies, Convenience Stores

The CVS store at 2222 Guadalupe St. is open until 12:00 am Wednesday.
The CVS Pharmacy at 2021 Guadalupe St. is closed until 10:00 am Wednesday.
The CVS store at 2927 Guadalupe St. is open until 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Walgreens at 3701 Guadalupe and at 4501 Guadalupe St. are currently closed as of 10:00 am
Wednesday.
Kins Market is open as of 10:00 am Wednesday.
The 7-Eleven at 2600 Guadalupe St. is open Wednesday until 4 p.m.

Coffee Shops

Lucky Lab Coffee on San Antonio St. is currently open as of 10:00 am Wednesday.

Currently Closed

As of yesterday, Kerbey Lane Cafe on Guadalupe Street was closed. As of today, Feb. 17, the
Texan received no response.
As of yesterday, Wingstop on Guadalupe Street was closed. As of today, Feb. 17, the Texan received no response.
Cabo Bob’s Burritos at 2828 Rio Grande St. will be closed through Thursday, Feb, 18, according to their website.
Texas French Bread is closed as of Wednesday.
UTea Pho is closed until further notice, according to their answering machine.
