A body was recovered from the Mississippi River under the Franklin Ave. bridge on Wednesday morning, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.  

Coaches from the University of Minnesota women’s rowing team found an adult male’s body in the river during rowing practice that morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the identity of the man and cause of death is still under investigation.
