The Gophers two month losing streak ended with a court storming.
Minnesota upset No. 6 Maryland 68-63 in front of a crowd of 10,768 Thursday night at Williams Arena, picking up the team’s first Big Ten win and its first victory in its past 15 games.
“[The court storming] was a blur for a minute there,” senior forward Joey King said. “The fans stuck with us all year. There was a lot of people there tonight and they were able to experience a great win.”
