The Berkeley Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1100 block of Parker Street on Tuesday night.

According to a BPD crime alert, three people were reported injured, who have been transported to a local hospitals. BPD first responded when residents reported gun shots at around 7:40 p.m., as first reported by Berkeleyside.

BPD was on the scene, and is currently gathering more information about the shooting.

BPD is asking people to stay clear of the area near San Pablo Avenue and Parker Street. Anyone with information is asked to call BPD’s 24-hour tip line at (510) 981-5900.
