NFL season off to unlikely start

I don’t even know where to begin. It is only week two and the NFL has my mind all over the place with the madness.

First, let’s start off with the really bad.

The Philadelphia Eagles have looked horrendous the first two weeks of the season and with a Chip Kelly-led team, this is not supposed to happen.

The Eagles are 0-2 and this is not what anybody expected.

At worst, I would have expected them to be 1-1 since they faced division rival the Dallas Cowboys.

But not only have they been losing, they also have looked really bad doing it.

The electrifying offense that head coach Kelly runs looks unorganized, unprepared and cannot make a block to save their life.

Star running back DeMarco Murray has been stuffed and not been able to show his true potential at all. This could be due to a hurt offensive line, but Murray isn’t a chump. He should be able to make plays regardless.

So to me right now, the most shocking is definitely the Philadelphia Eagles, and as a somewhat fan due to their potential they have, I hope they get it together throughout the season.

The next team I would like to cover is the Denver Broncos.

Now they’re 2-0, as expected, so nothing surprising, right? Wrong.

Soon-to-be Hall of Famer and starting quarterback for the Broncos Peyton Manning has been looking like his brother, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

And believe me when I tell you, this is not a good thing. It’s actually terrible and scary for the Broncos.

His arm has looked weak, inaccurate and he has been off his game throwing more interceptions than touchdowns, which is very unlikely for one of the greatest regular season quarterbacks of all time.

Yes, I said regular season, but that debate will be saved for another day.

But thanks for a very solid defense, the sluggish looking offense has been getting saved and this is why they are 2-0. For the Broncos sake they better hope the offense gets on a roll.

Another team that I am highly shocked about that’s doing terrible is the Indianapolis Colts.

From a previous article that I have written earlier in the year, I actually said that the Colts are one of the teams to have a chance to make it to the Super Bowl and win it all.

The way they are playing now, I highly regret that choice.

The Colts offense have looked like a high school freshmen football team the way they have been playing. Andrew Luck, their starting quarterback, who is supposed to be at least a top five quarterback in the league, played his last game and looked like he never started before.

I am not sure why but Andrew Luck has looked so terrible in the Colts first two games, but this is not a good sign for them.

The Colts, on paper, have one of the best offenses with veterans and young stars that make the team very balanced. For them to not put up big numbers is highly disappointing and I am sure it is very frustrating for any Colts fan.

As a Patriots fan, I am very happy this is happening because I feel right now, no team in the NFL can beat the New England Patriots, and I thought that the Colts were our biggest rival.

With the way terrific Tom Brady has been playing, there is no stopping us.

But again, let me say this. I understand the NFL is only going into week three and it is a long season.

Just some teams better hope they step it up or it will be a very long season for these teams and fans of the teams.
