On this day, love changed the minds of pretenders while it chased the clouds away.  This must have been a lot of work.

Concurrently, the stars stole the night away.  Watch the sky tonight, folks!  Maybe if we’re lucky this year basic laws of physics will be defied once more.

Also, Maurice White’s heart rang in the key that his soul was singing.  Think that sounds fun?  Think again.  Heart palpitations are no joke.  Fortunately he made it long enough to write a song, achieve world renown, and see that same song featured in “Night at the Museum,” another cultural pillar of its time.
