Loretta Lynch is currently running for attorney general, making history as the first African-American woman to be nominated for the position.
Last Wednesday, Lynch announced her support of President Barack Obama’s policies on immigration, tiptoeing around aspects of the situation that might turn away her supporters.
When she approached the subject of immigration itself, the Republican Party went into an immediate state of outrage, turning Lynch into a punching bag for the president’s executive order on immigration.
