A living history event commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War took place on the CSU-Pueblo campus Wednesday featuring participants from reenactment units based in New Mexico and Colorado. The participants portrayed civilians of the period and soldiers from the Union and Confederate armies. They demonstrated weapons fire and blacksmithing, played music from the 1800s, and displayed period dress and other historical items.  CSU-Pueblo students and faculty attended the event as well as K-12 students from the Pueblo community.
