The forecast for Eugene calls for rain, rain, and a high possibility of freezing rain.

Heavy ice will make traveling around Eugene potentially very dangerous as temperatures continue to drop to near or below freezing. Falling branches and trees is a possibility as well as power outages. Use caution while driving as roads will be flooded and slick.

Don’t forget about frostbite: If you lose feeling in your extremities or have extremely pale fingers, toes, ears, and nose get medical attention right away.

To prevent loss of body heat, change wet clothing often and try your best to keep dry.
