The No. 1 ranked Oregon Softball team defeats the University of Wisconsin Badgers 6-1 during the second round of regionals on Saturday, May 17 at Howe Field in Eugene, Oregon. Both teams had a slow start to the game, and no one scored a run until the third inning. Wisconsin answered during the top of the fourth with a home run from outfielder Stephanie Peace. After two more slow innings, the Ducks heated up and scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, including two-run homer by catcher Janelle Lindvill resulting in a 6-1 win.
The Ducks will play in the third round of regionals on Sunday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at Howe Field in Eugene, Oregon.
