After finishing the first round of the NCAA Men’s Golf West Regionals tied for fifth with a final team score of 289 (+9), the Oregon Ducks looked to increase their chances of making an appearance to the 2014 NCAA Tournament. During Friday’s round, the Ducks advanced to third place after the team scored an even par 280. Oregon sophomore Zach Foushee shot a team best of 68 (2-under-par) on Friday, bouncing from tied for 14th to tied for second in individuals. Collegiate No. 3 and Stanford junior Patrick Rodgers continued to dominate the competition on Friday and still has a commanding lead at six shots better than the next competitor. Rodgers now stands at 7-under-par.
The final round of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Golf West Regional will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday, May 17th, 2014
