The Oregon Ducks hosted their in-state rivals, the Oregon State Beavers, at PK Park in Eugene, Oregon on May 6, 2014. In 12 innings the Beavers were able to defeat the Ducks 4-3 for the fourth time this season after sweeping them at home in Corvallis, Oregon last month. The Ducks ended their 16-game home win streak with tonight’s loss to Oregon State. Oregon State struck first with a run in the first inning and the score would eventually even up 3-3 at the end of the fourth inning. Neither team could score a run for seven straight innings afterwards, forcing a twelfth inning in which Oregon State was able to score a run.
The Ducks head north on Wednesday, May 7th to Portland to play at 3 p.m. and the fly to Arizona State for a three-game series that starts on Friday, May 9th.
