The Ducks failed to extend their winning streak to 13 straight wins after falling to the Sun Devils 4-2 on Friday, May 2. The Sun Devils were held scoreless during the fifth inning but scored three runs in the sixth inning. Although the Ducks entered the sixth inning with a 2-1 lead, errors on the field lead Arizona State to score three runs, ultimately ending their 12-game win streak. The Ducks look for revenge heading into Saturday’s match-up.
Next for the Ducks is the third and final game of the Arizona State series on Sunday, May 4 at Howe Field in Eugene.
