The Oregon women’s lacrosse team (10-5) lost to the No. 17 Denver Pioneers (15-1) 11-5 at Papé Field on April 25, 2014. The Ducks returned to Papé Field after coming off a 13-6 win at San Diego State last Sunday. The game stayed relatively lopsided towards Denver starting after Denver sophomore attacker Rachel McKinnon scored the first goal within one minute of the start of the game. Denver then went for four unanswered points until Oregon junior midfielder Olivia Pyne scored at 16:52 in the first half. Oregon would eventually give up seven more points to the Pioneers, losing 11-5.
The Oregon Ducks next host the Colorado Buffalos at 12 p.m. at Papé Field on April 27, 2014.
