After four weeks of campaigns and controversies, the 2014 ASUO elections are finished, and Ducks Like You candidate Beatriz Gutierrez will be the ASUO President for the 2014-2015 school year.
Gutierrez won by 713 votes, overcoming a 190-vote loss in the primary election to Mighty Oregon candidate Taylor Allison.
“We would like to thank every single person who helped out and believed in us and helped us achieve our goal,” Ducks Like You Campaign Manager Helena Schlegel said.
The ASUO vice presidents will be Tran Dinh and Patrick Kindred.
