The University of Oregon club rowing team practices everyday Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. at Dexter Reservoir in Lowell, Ore. A majority of the team members do not drive to the reservoir themselves. Instead, they take a school bus that picks them up from the Duck Store at 5:15 a.m. and drops them off at Dexter Reservoir. Established in 1967, the Oregon crew team competes on a national basis every year. The club rowing team competed in the Covered Bridge Regatta this past weekend at Dexter Reservoir in Lowell, Ore. The men’s novice 8+ won bronze, women’s varsity 8+ won silver, men’s varsity 8+ won bronze and men’s varsity 4+ finished in fourth place by tenths of a second. The team will head to Lake Natoma in California April 26-27 for the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta.
